This case concerned the issues of where the Patient should live and who she should see. The Patient was living in a care home after suffering from a stroke. The court had to decide whether the benefits of the Patient moving to the Midlands from the South West to live with her exdaughter in-law outweighed the potential loss of relationships with family in the South West.
