A scathing judgment where the Judge made critical findings against the London Borough of Lambeth and Lambeth CCG for their handling of the repatriation of the P to Colombia. The P, who was from Colombia, suffered a cardiac arrest while in the UK in 2014 and had been confined in hospital since. This judgment highlights the woeful handling of the P's repatriation to Colombia where the Judge said that she had 'been kept unnecessarily miserable against her will, confined in an environment for much longer than was necessary, in [his] best estimate, for 3 years.' A costs order was made against the LA and the CCG.
