New OPG Guidance on gifting

The Office of the Public Guardian has published fresh guidance advising deputies and attorneys on how to approach giving gifts on behalf of the person they act for.

The guidance explains:

• the legal framework to gifting
• the approach the Office of the Public Guardian takes when deputies or attorneys go beyond their authority to give gifts
